Working Hours & Areas

Areas covered Reading and South Oxon (Reading boarder)
Current Working Hours Monday-Friday
Day time 9:30 am-1:30pm

Evening Appointments (Cuts only – Consultations) 6:30pm -8pm​

Saturdays 8:30am – 3pm
*Additional charges apply for out of area

​Cancellations

A minimum of 24 hours notice is required should you need to cancel or re-schedule your appointment.

If less than 24 hours notice is given, then 50% of your appointment fee may be owed before your next

appointment or Complete refusal of future appointments altogether.

  Payment & Deposits

Cash or card payment or Bank Transfer is acceptable.​

All payments must be settled before I leave.

I do not accept American Express, cheques or PayPal e-cheques

KPS Hairdressing reserves the right to request any payment upfront for any services or products.

Consultations 

 It takes around 15 minutes for chemical services and much longer for bridal or extensions services.


All colour services and extensions services require consultations, no service will be provided with out one, this is a legal requirement.
 

Colour consultation appointments cost £20 this is non-refundable. Consultations are a service, you will receive a detailed haircare plan tailored to you.

Pricing

All prices are correct as of 1st January 2021.

For longer or thicker hair, an additional fee may incur and you will be advised accordingly prior to your service taking place.​ ​

 Pets & Children

​ All pets to be kept out of the room where possible, I cannot work well if I have cats and dogs running around or trying to sit on my feet. That also applies to children 🙂 

For the safety of everyone, small children who need to be looked after, please have someone available to help out. 

Although I love to colour everyone’s hair, unfortunately I am unable to colour anyone’s hair under the age of 18. This is due to health and safety of a minor.

KPS Hairdressing takes the care of our clients seriously and complies within our insurance policy. Proof of age maybe asked at the time of consultation, please do not be offended if your lucky to look under the age of 18, this is a legal requirement.

Other useful information

As you know, I am mobile, so I will need to park my car. If there is no parking on your property or very close outside, please advise me before you book. My bags are very heavy.

Your hair must be clean unless requested otherwise.​

I understand many hairdressers have said they like dirty hair, I do not.

​Blow dry – If I am not washing it for you then it will need to be wet. 🙂 
Cut and Finish – washed and wet, unless you would like me to wash it.
Colours – clean and dry. Wash the day/night before to help the colour work best. 

Hair up/party hair – clean and dry. Washed the night before for your style to hold better. 

I do like to take over an entire kitchen side where possible, so if you could have a nice clean empty work side for me to put my bits on that would be greatly appreciated. ​

I bring everything with me, gowns, products and tools.

Please have suitable seating for you to sit on and a work side for my tools and equipment. A table is ideal.

Returns, Revisits and Refunds

If Your ever un-happy, which I hope this is never the case. ​
KPS Hairdressing will do our very best to rectify any complaints within 14 days.

KPS Hairdressing DO NOT routinely offer Refunds.

Our Policy is to correct any work that is redeemed unsatisfactory as a first point of call within 14 days.

This complies with Our insurances and Business policy.

You will be required to sign to accept you have read and understood KPS Hairdressing’s Terms and Conditions and by signing you are agreeing to comply with KPS Hairdressing’s Terms and conditions.
